Our History & Purpose
North Texas Fire Academy started conducting local academy classes in 1998, based on the vision of delivering fire and medical training to the fire service and industry customers. The vision of the owner was to deliver quality training and cost effective prices. With this vision North Texas Fire Academy has grown to “A Small Academy Training Worldwide.” We have students from United States, Canada and Saudi Arabia. North Texas Fire Academy has expanded to the Gulf Region due to the excellent response from the Petrochemical Industry.
North Texas Fire Academy’s relationship with Saudi Arabian Fire Chiefs, began when a Chief from the petrochemical industry attended a Fire Officer III and IV class in Garland, Texas. The Chief and a staff member developed a professional and close relationship together which lead to the Chief requesting North Texas Fire Academy staff to conduct training in Jubail, Industrial City, KSA. The first courses were conducted in August and September 2011. The courses were Hazardous Materials 1 & 2 and Rescue I & II. The 40 hour course led to additional courses being taught at the Jubail facility. Since the first class, word traveled fast among the Fire Chiefs and approximately 25 Fire Chiefs have attended courses at our facility in Rockwall, Texas. As our relations with the Saudi Arabian Companies grew, our instructors and courses were evaluated by Saudi Arabian Companies in Yanbu. North Texas Fire Academy in the last year has conducted numerous Hazardous Materials, Confined Space and NFPA 1081 Fire Brigade Interior and Exterior Firefighting Classes. With the success of our relationships with Saudi Arabian Fire Chiefs we are planning expansion into the Gulf Region area.
Courses delivered by North Texas Fire Academy instructors are National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) approved curriculum and are delivered on-site and cost effective.
North Texas Fire Academy prior to training conducts an assessment of your facilities response capabilities which includes equipment, response plans, and Standard Operating Procedures. We customize your training goals to your response capabilities. This planning results in a more effective and efficient Emergency Response Team.
